Behavior Analysis in NY is an evaluation research and policy analysis organization. It specializes in organizational analysis, program evaluation, workforce development, and project implementation. Behavior Analysis in NY designs and evaluates health, employment and human service programs. Behavior Analysis in NY consults for foundations, community-based organizations, non-profit corporations, charitable organizations, public and private schools, health service institutions, institutions of higher learning and private companies to clarify and assess organizational mission, strategy and organizational performance. Behavior Analysis NY designs and utilizes focus groups, face-to-face and web-based surveys and many other social and behavioral science metrics.
The principal of the organization, Dr. Roy Feldman, was a member of the faculty at MIT, where he was on the Faculty Committee on Student Environment (chair, for two years) and a member of the Institutional Review Board/Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects. In addition to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students at MIT, Feldman has taught at Harvard, the Johns Hopkins University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he was a Fulbright visiting professor. For the period 2010 to 2011, Feldman was Chair of the American Sociological Association Section on Sociological Practice and Public Sociology. He is currently a member of that Section Council and a member of the ASA Committee on Sections. He is also on the board of directors of a number of other organizations.
